In Barcelona lies a restaurant on Passeig de Joan de Borbó, 12 named l’arròs. In their menu, there’s a chocolate dessert worthy of all praises. They named it Crispy Chocolate Bomb! with an exclamation mark. So after finishing one, I start telling the waiter how crazy awesome it was with all the variations in taste and textures, he just smile back and look at me as if I was a newbie in a role playing game and said “we called it Crispy Chocolate Bomb!” for a reason.

It is that good. if we were chatting and you happen to go on about chocolate and how wonderful they are and then go into great details about your experiences and passion and you fail to mention about your experience with a Crispy Chocolate Bomb!; honestly in my head, I am hearing “blah blah blah … blah blah blah …” and will look at you as if you were a nooob! ^_^

Meanwhile, near home we hold our own in chocolate.

Recchiuti Confections is perhaps one of Bay Area’s best when it comes to chocolate. Located in San Francisco Ferry Building shop #30, their handmade chocolates and confections will keeps your taste buds sharp and your senses alive. Their seasonal collections is my personal favorite, whatever the occasion may be. Time and time again, I find myself returning to Recchiuti as the chocolate of choice for family and friends.
